DESCRIPTION CIMSTAR® 3890 is a semi-synthetic metalworking fluid.
APPLICATION CIMSTAR® 3890 was developed for use on aluminum. It can also be used on titanium, exotic alloys, cast iron, carbons steels, high speed steel, high alloy steels, stainless steel, and most yellow metals. It should not be used on magnesium alloys. For use in moderate to heavy-duty operations such as milling, drilling, tapping, reaming, boring and surface grinding.
FEATURES & BENEFITS LUBRICITY: Designed for heavy duty aluminum machining applications such as reaming and tapping. Provides excellent tool life and surface finish and will maximize performance of high speed steel, carbide and diamond tooling applications. CORROSION PROTECTION: Specialized non-ferrous corrosion inhibitors eliminate part staining and prevent bi-metallic corrosion.
FOAM CONTROL: CIMSTAR 3890 has good foam control.
